Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing of at least one state bar.
• At least 3 years of experience as an attorney in a law firm, at a government agency, as a military judge advocate or as in-house counsel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Legal point of contact for bank and cafe operations functions.
• Provide legal advice and support on responses to customer complaints and disputes.
• Work with compliance and business partners to investigate consumer complaints and develop written responses.
• Identify and coordinate resolution of potential line of business compliance or operational errors.
• Provide information on litigation and regulatory trends.
• Translate laws and requirements for business teams and subject matter experts.
• Engage with colleagues to provide legal support as part of a cross-functional team.
