Job summary

Solutus Legal Search is assisting a mission-driven cloud company in hiring an early Senior Counsel to support global operations and procurement. You will negotiate vendor agreements, master purchase agreements, SaaS, and other technology contracts while guiding internal teams on governance and risk.

The ideal candidate holds a JD with bar admission and 7+ years of commercial transaction experience, with the ability to work across a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• JD with at least one state bar membership.
• Seven or more years of drafting and negotiating commercial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate vendor and procurement agreements including technology/Software licenses and SaaS.
• Collaborate with internal teams on governance, policies, risk mitigation and compliance.
• Negotiate privacy, information security, regulatory, insurance, and data protection terms in procurement agreements.
