Dow has an opening for a Senior Counsel in its Commercial & Innovation Law group, located in Houston, TX. You will provide broad transactional legal counsel across Hydrocarbons, Feedstocks and Energy & Climate segments.

The role emphasizes collaboration, risk assessment, training, and proactive client engagement within a global science-driven company. Domestic relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor or Master of Laws degree.
• A minimum of 4 years practicing as in-house counsel or as a corporate/commercial/transactional attorney.
• Admission to State Bar or eligible for admission.
• U.S. based position requires ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsabilités

• Simplify and solve strategic-level legal challenges for global clients.
• Review and draft legal documents; identify potential legal risk in meetings with business units.
• Host client legal training and education on various topics; support risk mitigation practices.
• Collaborate within a team of legal professionals and other Company staff; foster growth and learning.
• Communicate proactively with Legal team management and clients.
• Delegate work appropriately to paralegals and support staff; manage external resources.
