Job summary

Databricks seeks an experienced attorney to lead international partner and channel program initiatives from our go-to-market legal team. This hybrid role supports program development across jurisdictions, drafting and negotiating partner agreements, and advising on compliance, privacy, AI, and IP issues.

You will report to the VP, International General Counsel and influence routes to market for our groundbreaking technologies in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and US bar admission.
• 8+ years of combined relevant legal experience in-house and/or at a law firm.
• Experience developing partner programs across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Collaborative, self-starter with a practical, problem-solving mindset.
• Extensive experience drafting and negotiating high-value technology contracts.
• Familiarity with data privacy, information security, AI, and IP issues.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate partner agreements while managing legal engagements.
• Lead or assist negotiations with strategic partners to balance growth and risk.
• Contribute to development and evolution of partner programs globally.
• Support channel and technology models to enable scalable growth.
• Oversee compliance and risk assessments across jurisdictions.
• Create and deliver ethics and compliance training for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with legal, operations, and business units to drive channel development.
