Job summary

Databricks seeks an experienced attorney to lead international partner and channel programs, developing programs across multiple jurisdictions. This in-house role focuses on program development for groundbreaking technologies and requires proactive legal leadership.

You will report to the VP, International General Counsel, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on negotiations, compliance, data privacy, information security, and IP matters in a fast-paced, hybrid environment, including

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate partner agreements while managing legal engagements to align with regulatory and business needs; lead and/or assist in negotiations with strategic partners, balancing growth with risk.
• Participate in development/launch/evolution of new programs by teaming with cross-functional partners and internal legal leads in a hyper-growth environment.
• Support business development of channel distribution models and technology partnerships to build scalable processes.
• Oversee compliance related to channel development and contracting in multiple jurisdictions, engaging with Legal Compliance.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments in relevant jurisdictions and adjust channel programs as needed.
• Create and deliver training on ethics and compliance for stakeholders interfacing with channel partners.
• Collaborate across teams to address company goals for transacting at scale and rapid revenue growth.
