Job summary

Databricks seeks an experienced attorney with a strong background in partner and channel programs to join our go-to-market legal team. This hybrid role supports multiple jurisdictions and reports to the VP, International General Counsel.

You will help shape and negotiate partner agreements while balancing growth with risk across global alliances. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of relevant legal experience in-house and at a firm, with expertise in contract drafting, data privacy, AI, and IP,

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 8+ years of combined legal experience at a law firm and in-house at a high-growth tech company.
• Proven ability to develop and implement partner programs across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
• Collaborative, self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience drafting and negotiating high-value commercial agreements in a tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate partner agreements while aligning with regulatory and business needs.
• Lead or assist negotiations with strategic partners to balance growth with long-term risk.
• Develop, launch and evolve channel programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee compliance related to channel development across multiple jurisdictions.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and adapt channel programs accordingly.
• Create and deliver training on ethics and compliance for stakeholders involved with channel partners.
• Collaborate with commercial, operations, and legal teams to enable scalable channel growth.
