Job summary

Databricks is seeking an experienced attorney to lead international partner and channel programs within the go-to-market legal team. You will draft and negotiate partner agreements, manage program development across jurisdictions, and ensure compliance across multiple regions while collaborating with cross-functional partners to drive rapid revenue growth.

The role reports to the VP, International General Counsel and requires strong in-house experience with tech partnerships.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission to practice in at least one US jurisdiction.
8+ years of combined relevant legal experience at a law firm and within a high-growth technology company.
Proven ability to develop and implement effective partner programs across multiple jurisdictions.
Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working across teams.
A self-starter who is comfortable navigating ambiguous situations and providing sound legal judgment.
Programmatic mindset with experience managing multi-faceted projects and simplifying processes.
Experience with ISV partnering, cloud marketplaces, and quote-to-cash concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

Draft and negotiate partner agreements while coordinating with legal engagements to align with regulatory and business needs.
Participate in development, launch, and evolution of new programs with cross-functional teams.
Support channel distribution models and technology partnerships to scale growth.
Oversee compliance related to channel development and contracting across jurisdictions.
Conduct risk assessments and align channel programs with internal policies.
Create and deliver ethics and compliance training for stakeholders interfacing with channel partners.
Collaborate with legal and business units to drive channel development and revenue growth.
