Job summary
Aypa Power LLC, a Blackstone portfolio company, is seeking a transactional attorney to work with the Senior Associate General Counsel on EPC, procurement, and O&M matters for our utility-scale energy storage projects across North America. This role supports construction and operations teams and focuses on contract negotiation and risk management.
The ideal candidate has a JD, active US bar, and 5+ years of post-qualification experience in energy storage or related sectors, with a proven ability
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school and active bar licensure in at least one US jurisdiction.
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience with utility-scale energy storage procurement, EPC, and O&M contracts.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate equipment supply and EPC contracts and related services.
- Manage multiple transactions and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
- Support Construction, Operations and Asset Management teams during project life cycles.
- Identify material risks and propose solutions to executives and team leads.
- Improve templates and processes for efficiency and compliance.
