Job summary
Aypa Power, a Blackstone portfolio company, seeks a transactional attorney to partner with the Senior Associate General Counsel on EPC and Operations matters. You will draft, review, and negotiate equipment supply and EPC contracts, manage multiple transactions, and support construction and operational life cycles with cross-functional teams.
The role requires a JD from an accredited law school, active bar licensure, and 5+ years of post-qualification experience in utility-scale storage
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school is required.
- Active bar licensure in at least one US jurisdiction.
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience in utility-scale battery energy storage procurement, construction and operations.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate equipment supply and EPC contracts.
- Manage multiple transactions and coordinate with internal and external counsel.
- Support Execution, Operations and Asset Management teams through construction and operations lifecycles.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and strategic legal positioning across projects.
- Interface with suppliers, EPCs, operators, and counterparties.
