Job summary

Aypa Power LLC, a Blackstone portfolio company, is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead sourcing for BESS and solar equipment, build strategic vendor relationships, and negotiate long-term supply agreements across North America.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Legal, and Development to structure contracts, improve procurement processes, and support rapid growth in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement experience with sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management.
• 3+ years of procurement experience in utility-scale renewables/high-voltage procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing activities for BESS and solar equipment, including market assessment, RFP development, vendor evaluation, and contract execution.
• Develop sourcing strategies that optimize price competitiveness, technical specifications, delivery reliability, supplier stability, and risk mitigation.
• Manage equipment supply agreements including scope, terms, logistics, quality standards, and warranty provisions.
• Build, maintain, and prioritize key vendor relationships and serve as SME for supply segments.
• Negotiate and close complex commercial and technical terms, identifying solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Legal, and Development to capture requirements within supply contracts.
• Champion procurement efficiency initiatives to scale operations and reduce costs and strengthen resilience.
• Support project transactions related to acquisitions, financings, and divestitures, as well as contracts.
