Qualifikationen

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing of at least one state bar.
• At least 4 years of attorney experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or government agency.
• 2+ years of counsel/compliance experience with consumer finance laws, regulations, and disclosures (UDAAP/UDAP).
• In-house, corporate legal experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic legal advice on consumer protection risks across the customer lifecycle.
• Analyze and mitigate UDAAP risks identified through monitoring and testing with clear guidance for Compliance and Legal partners.
• Advise on digital initiatives including electronic disclosures, digital signatures, and website/app terms.
• Lead development and updates of Legal UDAAP and Consent frameworks.
• Identify regulatory trends and provide proactive leadership to keep Capital One ahead.
