Job summary

Accuray Senior Counsel, Commercial Transactions will provide practical, business-focused legal counsel to support the company’s commercial activities. You will draft and negotiate complex agreements including equipment sales, software licensing and service contracts, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will work with Sales and Commercial Operations to enable deals while managing risk, and you will help develop contract templates, negotiation

Qualifications

• JD degree and active license to practice law.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant commercial legal experience.
• Experience advising on complex commercial transactions.
• Ability to independently assess legal and commercial risk and provide practical recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate complex customer-facing commercial agreements, including equipment sale, software licensing, and service agreements.
• Draft and negotiate distributor, reseller, confidentiality, consulting and supplier/vendor agreements.
• Partner with Sales, Sales Operations and other teams to support commercial transactions and business objectives.
• Collaborate with Legal team on strategic initiatives and broader legal matters.
