Job summary

Accuray Incorporated is seeking a Senior Counsel to support commercial transactions and strategic initiatives. The role partners with Sales, Operations and other teams to structure, draft, and negotiate complex agreements while managing risk.

Responsibilities include developing contract templates and playbooks, while ensuring efficient processes and alignment with business objectives. Requires robust experience in commercial law and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant commercial legal experience.
• Experience advising on complex commercial transactions.
• Ability to independently assess legal and commercial risk and provide practical recommendations.
• Strong judgment, analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical legal counsel for commercial sales activities and strategic initiatives.
• Draft and negotiate complex customer-facing commercial agreements (equipment, software, services).
• Draft and negotiate distributor, reseller, confidentiality and supplier/vendor agreements.
• Collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams to support transactions and objectives.
• Identify and escalate significant legal or business risks to leadership.
