Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Counsel, Capital Markets to lead financing transactions and advise on diversified capitalization strategies. You will oversee lending and securities compliance, work with cross‑functional teams, and report to the Director, Capital Markets Counsel.

You will coordinate with capital markets and bank partnerships teams, ensuring timely legal guidance and deal execution for US and international transactions. Remote-first within the United States.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant law-firm experience and in-house fintech exposure preferred.
• Structured/debt finance experience including term loans, revolvers, asset-based lending, loan sales, securitizations.

Responsibilities

• Advise capital markets team on funding sources and international expansion.
• Support bank partnerships through origination and card issuing programs.
• Lead financing transactions and bank partner initiatives from strategy to closing.
