Job summary

Affirm seeks a Senior Counsel, Capital Markets to lead and advise on capital strategies and financing transactions. You will partner with bank relationships, draft complex documents, and ensure regulatory compliance across US and international deals.

The role requires a strong background in debt finance, corporate transactions, and an ability to work with cross‑functional teams in a remote-first environment. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

7+ years of relevant law-firm experience, with some in-house fintech exposure.
JD degree from a law school and in good standing with a US state bar.
Experience in structured and/or debt finance including term, revolver, asset-based lending; securitizations.

Responsibilities

Advise and support capital markets team on sources and strategies, including international expansion.
Lead financing transactions and bank partner initiatives from strategy to close.
Draft and negotiate US and international capital markets documents (credit agreements, indentures, side letters).
Demonstrate expertise in lending and securities laws as they apply to capital markets.
