Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Senior Counsel for AI and Legal Technology to guide AI-related legal strategy, product development, and partnerships. The role reports to the General Counsel and requires strong expertise in AI regulatory matters and tech transactions.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, strategic thinker who can translate complex legal concepts for non-lawyers and drive practical solutions across Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of AI regulatory landscape (US/EU) and emerging frameworks.
• Experience with technology transactions, licensing, SaaS, API terms.
• Marketing law knowledge including FTC/state laws.
• Strong understanding of cloud services, information security, privacy and IP.
• Experience advising AI-enabled products and legal tech.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented with risk assessment.
• US JD and bar license.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Ironclad and Asana.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal advisor for enterprise AI, product development, marketing and legal tech.
• Provide strategic legal counsel to internal stakeholders on commercial issues.
• Engage with customers and deliver practical solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Partner and Strategy teams.
• Suggest process improvements in beta testing and product documentation.
• Utilize AI legal technology tools to drive efficiency.
• Advise on terms in customer/vendor agreements and materials.
