Relativity is seeking a Senior Counsel, AI & Legal Technology to advise on AI, product development, and legal technology. You will partner with Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Strategy to manage risk, enable growth, and ensure compliance across AI initiatives.

The role requires JD with US bar, deep knowledge of AI regulatory landscape, and the ability to translate complex legal concepts for business partners. Competitive compensation and growth potential accompany a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

Six (6) or more years of relevant in-house and/or law firm experience with technology initiatives.
Experience with software development, open source licensing issues, including OSI-approved licenses.
Background in marketing law, FTC/state laws.
Strong understanding of technology, AI, data, cybersecurity, and regulatory considerations.
Experience supporting AI-enabled products and legal tech issues.
JD degree from an accredited law school and US bar admission.
Ability to research and analyze legal issues with strong communications skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as the lead legal representative for enterprise AI, product development, marketing and legal technology.
Provide creative, strategic legal advice and business counsel on commercial, operational and strategic issues.
Engage with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes.
Suggest improvements in processes and documentation to enhance efficiency.
Exhibit agility with AI legal technology tools and new platforms.
Review and negotiate terms in vendor and customer agreements.
