Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to join our U.S. team for a large-scale, complex data center construction program in Van Wert, Ohio. You will serve as the key day-to-day client interface, delivering cost management across the project lifecycle.

The role requires excellent communication, client-facing professionalism, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Leadership and alignment with Turner & Townsend values are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in cost management in the construction industry.
• RICS accredited or working towards it is preferred.
• Experience of leading cost management on medium or large sized construction projects of medium to high complexity.
• Experience supporting data center, mission critical, advanced technology, or other highly technical construction projects is advantageous.
• Construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide estimate and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.
• Review and participate with the design services team and general contractor in the development of cost estimates.
• Reconcile changes and assist the general contractor to ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare cost estimates updates after gathering status information.
