Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to support delivery of a large-scale, mission-critical data center construction program. The role serves as a key client interface, ensuring client objectives are achieved through best-in-class cost management services across complex, fast-paced projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience in cost management or quantity surveying.
• Experience with consulting or professional services preferred.
• Experience developing estimates, cost plans, change management processes, and cost reporting.
• Strong understanding of construction delivery methods, procurement strategies, value engineering, and cost controls.
• Experience reviewing contractor pricing and negotiating terms.
• Knowledge of MEP systems for mission-critical facilities.
• MRICS accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain project budgets and cost plans across all design and construction phases.
• Prepare detailed estimating, cost planning, and benchmarking analyses.
• Review and reconcile contractor, subcontractor, and consultant submissions.
• Lead change order management and negotiation of change requests.
• Produce cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost risk assessments for stakeholders.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support value engineering.
• Monitor commitments, contingency drawdown, and cost impacts.
• Conduct quantity surveying, valuations, and cost validation.
