Job summary

Turner & Townsend Heery is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to serve as the key client interface, delivering value-added cost management services throughout the project lifecycle.

You will estimate costs, oversee cost planning, and lead cost controls on medium to large construction projects, working closely with clients, design teams, and contractors to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant cost management experience in construction.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide cost planning and present final cost plan.
• Review cost estimates with design teams and general contractor.
• Coordinate cost information from subconsultants and design firms.
• Prepare cost updates and executive summaries for stakeholders.
• Lead cost checks and post-contract cost variances and change control.
