Job summary

Turner & Townsend Heery is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to serve as the key client interface, delivering value-added cost management services. The ideal candidate will communicate effectively, work independently or with a team, and promote Turner & Townsend Heery’s purpose and values.

Responsibilities include cost estimating, cost planning, and negotiating changes with contractors, while coordinating with design teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant cost management experience in construction.
• Professional accreditation preferred.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large, complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Prepare cost plans and final cost estimates for client review.
• Review designs with the cost team to update estimates and budgets.
• Lead cost management activities and advise on value engineering.
