Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United States seeks an experienced Senior Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to act as the primary client interface, delivering high-quality cost management on major capital projects, including large-scale manufacturing and advanced technology facilities from planning through closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field required.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant construction industry experience.
• RICS accreditation preferred or in progress.
• Experience leading cost management on large, complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide estimate and cost planning including final cost plan.
• Review and participate with design services and GC in cost estimates.
• Reconcile changes and assist GC to ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare cost estimates updates with status information for stakeholders.
• Coordinate cost information from NPA, subs, and A/Es.
• Develop cost plans and estimates through design milestones.
• Lead negotiations on pricing to achieve competitive contracts.
• Manage cost checks, valuations, and post-contract cost variances.
• Produce monthly cost reports for client presentation and final accounts negotiation.
