Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis, and control activities across projects. You will guide quality reviews, engage with engineers and discipline leaders, and help maintain schedules and project goals.

The ideal candidate holds US citizenship, a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, 10+ years of experience, and CCP certification. Proficiency in cost data, reporting, and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Certified Cost Professional certification from AACE International or similar.
• Knowledge in capital cost and services cost.
• Knowledge of scope change management.
• Intermediate knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction systems, and startup work processes.
• Proficiency in several discipline-specific software applications.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing cost recording, reporting, and analysis standards.
• Prepare cost data for projects, proposals and contract negotiations.
• Assist with scope change management.
• Define scope requirements with Engineering and other sources.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and verify quantities.
• Apply unit rates to takeoffs and quantities.
• Prepare budgets in line with standards and procedures.
• Prepare and coordinate cost reports.
• Collect and classify cost engineering data.
• Perform data analysis and development.
