Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Principal Program Cost Control Analyst to lead cost reporting for Navy programs under the Machinery Operating Unit. You’ll work with program managers, CAMs, and finance to prepare budgets, funding profiles, and forecasts.

You’ll develop EVM elements, manage WBS, conduct variance analysis, and ensure expenditures align with contracts and government cost controls. Some travel may be required; US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and 5+ years professional experience; or Master's with 3+ years; 9 years in lieu of degree considered.
• Experience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysis.
• Experience with Earned Value Management and performance measurement baseline concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost reporting for Navy programs under the Machinery Operating Unit.
• Interface with program managers, CAMs, and finance to prepare budgets, funding profiles and forecasts.
• Perform Earned Value tasks including WBS development, budget baseline, and variance analyses.
• Ensure contracts stay within negotiated parameters and government cost controls.
