Job summary

Northrop Grumman in San Diego, CA seeks a Principal Program Cost Control Analyst (PCA) for its Mission Systems division. This onsite 9/80 role focuses on EVMS, budgeting, forecasting and cost control across multiple contracts, with travel up to 10%.

The PCA interfaces with program managers and CAMs to provide financial analysis, prepare expenditure projections, and support audits and government reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related professional experience OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of related professional experience.
• Will consider 9 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement.
• Experience with Earned Value Management and financial systems including cost performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze reports for the Navigation, Intelligence & Connectivity Division.
• Assist with monthly/quarterly tasks such as EACs, IPRS and Financial Forecasts.
• Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and perform variance analysis.
• Monitor costs and schedules on contracts with validated cost schedules and provide financial support to meet program requirements.
• Support audits, annual operating and long-range planning activities.
