Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Program Cost Control Analyst to support cost reporting for Marine Systems programs from Sunnyvale and other CA locations. The role involves budgeting, scheduling, and financial analysis within a hybrid work environment, with a 9/80 schedule where available.

The ideal candidate will have strong EVM experience, advanced Excel skills, and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Domestic travel is expected at 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related professional experience or a Master’s with 3 years of related experience.
• 10 years of applied experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience with cost performance reporting and analysis.
• Experience with Earned Value Management and measurement baseline concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support/lead cost reporting for Navy class programs under the Machinery Operating Unit within Northrop Grumman’s Marine Systems Business Unit.
• Interface with program managers, CAMs, and business managers to provide financial support and analysis.
• Prepare budgets and schedules; develop funding profiles, sales outlook, cash forecasting, and variance analysis.
