Job summary

Acuity International, consulting division Acuity - PT&C, LLC, is seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis, and control activities across projects. You will drive quality reviews, maintain relationships with engineers and discipline leads, and guide team members to meet project goals while supporting professional development.

Ideal candidates possess a CCP certification, 10+ years in related cost roles, and strong knowledge of capital and services costs.

Qualifications

• US citizen required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 10+ years of experience.
• CCP certification from AACE International or similar (CCP-AACE, CEP-AACE, or CPE-ASPE).
• Knowledge in capital and services cost.
• Scope change management experience.
• Proficiency with engineering, procurement, contracts, and startup processes.
• Experience with multiple discipline software applications.
• Strong communication, leadership and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cost recording, reporting, and analysis standards and reports.
• Prepare cost data for projects, proposals and contract negotiations.
• Assist with scope change management.
• Define scope definition requirements with Engineering for estimates.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and verify quantities with discipline leads.
• Develop unit costs for quantities and allocated quantities.
• Prepare budgets per prescribed standards and procedures.
• Prepare and coordinate cost reports.
• Collect and classify cost engineering data; perform data analysis.
• Support Project Manager and staff; uphold mission and values.
