Acuity - PT&C, LLC is seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis, and control activities. You will manage data, prepare budgets, and coordinate with engineers and project leaders to meet schedules and goals.

The role emphasizes quality control, professional development of staff, and adherence to the company's mission and values while collaborating with project teams across disciplines.

Qualifications

• US Citizen is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 10+ years in the industry.
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or equivalent (CCP-AACE, CEP-AACE, CPE-ASPE) is required.
• Knowledge of capital and services cost.
• Knowledge of scope change management.
• Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction systems, and startup processes.
• Proficiency in multiple discipline-specific software applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in cost management.
• Proficient in financial reporting systems and controller codes; familiar with Earned Revenue data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost recording, reporting standards, programs and reports.
• Prepare cost data for projects, proposals and contracts.
• Assist with scope change management.
• Define scope requirements with Engineering and other sources to support estimates.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and apply unit rates.
• Prepare budgets and cost reports; collect cost data.
• Support project managers and maintain project schedules and goals.
• Mentor staff and uphold the company's mission and values.
