Job summary

Iovance Biotherapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Cost Accounting to oversee cost of goods sold, inventory costing and BOM analysis within the Cell Therapy Manufacturing Center. You will lead monthly close, prepare financial statements and drive cost insights for the CFO and SVP Finance.

The role partners with Manufacturing Finance, Corporate Accounting and FP&A, supports SOX compliance, forecasts, budgets, and audit deliverables while developing a small team of two cost accountants.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Accounting.
• 9+ years of progressive accounting with cost accounting focus; biopharma and CPA/Big 4 preferred.
• Strong GAAP and financial accounting knowledge.
• SOX control environment experience; NetSuite a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly/quarterly close for general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for the Company.
• Own overhead cost pool accumulation and allocation/absorption.
• Ensure timely monthly/quarterly cost accounting close for inventory and COGS.
• Oversee inventory physical counts and reserves with operations.
• Support SOX compliance and audit readiness for inventory and COGS.
• Assist forecast/budget process with inputs on volumes and costs.
• Support FP&A with monthly/quarterly financial reviews.
• Lead and develop a team of two Cost Accounting professionals.
• Adhere to core values, policies and business ethics.
