Qualifications

• Education requirements: bachelor degree or equivalent; master’s in finance or accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures cost accounting processes, programs and internal reports are developed, implemented and administered, supervises Cost Accounting staff.
• Ensures cost accounting processes and reports align with corporate objectives.
• Collaborates with senior management to ensure cost accounting supports strategic goals and reporting requirements.
• Seeks approval for cost accounting program/process/reporting improvements with management.
• Supervises costing and valuation of inventory and monthly inventory reporting including month-end close.
• Coordinates cost accounting activities to ensure consistent valuation methods.
• Leads the manufacturing budget process and determines annual standard costs for all products.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Master's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
