Job summary

Pivot Bio is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join our Minnetonka, MN office. You will own cost accounting processes, manage inventory valuation, and partner with Accounting, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and FP&A to support scalable operations as Pivot Bio grows.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cost accounting, experience with NetSuite, and a background in manufacturing or agriculture. This is an in-office role with robust compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience, with cost accounting, inventory, or manufacturing exposure.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with inventory valuation.
• Strong Excel skills and NetSuite experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare analyses of manufacturing performance and key metrics, including variances and inventory costs.
• Support month-end close, including inventory balance tie-outs and reconciliations.
• Record journal entries for inventory and COGS adjustments and reclasses.
• Manage inventory reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Assist with SOX controls and ERP implementation-related processes.
