Mercy BioAnalytics, Inc. is a biotechnology company focused on early cancer detection. We seek a Senior Manager / Associate Director to lead cost and inventory accounting, build scalable costing methodologies, and strengthen internal controls as we grow.

The role partners with manufacturing, purchasing, and supply chain to provide financial visibility into product costs and operational performance. It includes ownership of the close, GL, and reporting with a strong emphasis on GAAP and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing or life sciences environment.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and monthly close processes.
• Experience implementing inventory/cost accounting in ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost and inventory accounting across materials, labor, overhead, and cost of screening (COS).
• Design and implement inventory/cost accounting capabilities within financial systems.
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, manufacturing, and supply chain to analyze cost drivers.
• Own key monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and related journal entries.
• Support accounting policies, audits, and internal controls as the company scales.
