Qualifications

• 7+ years of cost accounting experience; master's degree with 5+ years is acceptable.
• Manufacturing environment cost accounting knowledge.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to determine costs of activity such as inventory and labor.
• Monitor physical inventories and cycle count program.
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries for P&L and Balance Sheet accounts.
• Reconcile inventories and balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Assist month-end close of General Ledger focused on cost, manufacturing, and inventory.
• Partner with operations on project cost tracking and forecasting.
• Support process improvements in cost accounting and margin analysis.
• Support special projects or financial analysis.
• Provide audit support and proper documentation for internal controls.
• Perform duties as assigned by the manager.
