The role involves high-stakes forecasting, variance analysis, and close collaboration with manufacturing and distribution teams to drive cost control and financial transparency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7 years of accounting experience with demonstrated progression in responsibilities.
• Experience with Percentage-of-Completion (POC) accounting, cost accounting, and/or manufacturing accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience supporting manufacturing and distribution operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise accounting functions and prepare reports and statistics reflecting earnings, profits, cash balances and other financial results.
• Manage and coordinate the full-cycle month-end close process for assigned business units, including manufacturing and distribution operations.
• Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Support annual audits, internal audits, and other compliance requirements.
• Maintain and analyze standard costs, inventory valuation, manufacturing variances, and cost allocations.
• Support and administer Percentage-of-Completion (POC) accounting for long‑term projects and contracts.
• Review project estimates, revenue recognition calculations, and cost‑to‑complete analyses.
• Monitor inventory transactions and ensure accuracy of manufacturing accounting processes.
• Perform monthly forecasting and financial analysis for the Profit & Loss Statement and Balance Sheet.
• Conduct proactive variance analysis and communicate financial risks, opportunities, and recommendations to operations management.
