ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS,REHABILITATION & REENTRY in Winslow, AZ seeks a Warden to lead a multi-custody facility. The role directs security, inmate programming, and administrative operations under the Deputy Assistant Director.

The ideal candidate brings progressive leadership and data-informed decision making to a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include staff hiring and mentorship, program development, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in corrections, public administration, or related field.
• Experience leading multi-unit facilities and diverse staff.
• Strong knowledge of correctional operations, safety and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of facility operations including security, programs, administration, and support services.
• Develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures for a safe and rehabilitative environment.
• Represent the organization and maintain relationships with government agencies and community partners.
• Hire, train, and supervise staff; provide mentorship and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with laws and correctional standards and oversee security protocols and incident management.
