ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS, REHABILITATION & REENTRY seeks a Chief of Health Services (Deputy Assistant Director) to lead medical, mental health, and dental operations across facilities and contracted prisons in Arizona. You will partner with executives, vendors, and stakeholders to drive excellence in care, policy, and oversight.

You will direct budgets, develop strategic plans, and champion modernized service delivery while representing ADCRR in inter-agency forums and facility audits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of correctional healthcare management and applicable laws.
• Experience with budgeting, procurement, and contracting in healthcare.
• Strong leadership, project management, and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Healthcare Services Division operations and compliance.
• Lead strategic initiatives, data gathering, and solution implementation.
• Direct budget preparation and planning for the division.
• Represent the agency in executive committees and audits.
• Coordinate with vendors and facilities to ensure quality care.
