Job summary

Hooper Deforest in Wisconsin is seeking a senior safety leader to translate the organization’s safety vision into disciplined execution, policy development, and measurable value across multiple sites. You will drive programs, train staff, and monitor performance to prevent Serious Injury and Fatalities while fostering a strong safety culture.

The role requires 5–10+ years in safety leadership, a related Bachelor’s degree, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or related field.
5–10+ years in multi-site safety roles.
Certifications preferred: CSP, ASP, CHST, OSHA 30/510/511.

Responsibilities

Own and lead the execution of the corporate safety program, ensuring strategies, policies, and initiatives are implemented across locations.
Provide leadership and oversight for staffing, including hiring participation and performance management.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local safety regulations and monitor regulatory changes.
Provide leadership to site and departmental safety representatives for consistent standard application.
Translate safety objectives into actionable plans, metrics, and initiatives.
