Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years of utility safety leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
• Preferred professional safety certifications (CSP, CHST, OHST).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to influence leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve incident-prevention strategies and safety systems.
• Lead Energy-Based Safety integration in work planning and execution.
• Champion SIF prevention and controls validation.
• Collaborate with Safety Managers and project teams to apply policies across projects.
• Chair safety committee meetings and drive learning culture.
• Conduct site observations, audits, and investigations for compliance.
• Lead or support incident investigations and workers’ compensation coordination.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous safety improvements.
