Upgrade Resources is seeking a Senior Safety Manager in Port Washington, WI. This onsite, full-time role leads environmental, health, and safety programs for a multi-state division, driving audits, training, and policy development to ensure regulatory compliance and safe operations.

The role emphasizes proactive leadership, incident investigations, and building a strong safety culture through recruiting, coaching, and performance management of the safety team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Health, Environmental Applied Sciences, or related field.
• 8+ years of EH&S experience including people management.
• Certifications in CPR and First Aid.
• OSHA 10/30/40 training preferred; OSHA 500, CHST or ASP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety audits and inspections across the division and ensure compliance with regulations and owner requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain employee safety training programs and records.
• Develop and manage workplace safety programs, procedures, and policies.
• Create reports/presentations for safety briefings with management.
• Provide strategic direction to improve environmental, health, and safety performance.
