Job summary

Hooper is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to translate the organization’s safety vision into disciplined execution. You will lead the corporate safety program, drive metrics, and ensure robust safety practices across sites, while advancing a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes leadership of staffing, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to prevent serious injuries and support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading safety programs across multiple sites.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety or related field or equivalent experience.
• Certifications in safety (preferred CSP/ASP/CHST/OSHA 30/510/511).
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the corporate safety program across locations and units.
• Provide leadership for staffing, hiring participation, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and update programs as regulations change.
• Lead site and department safety reps ensuring accountability for safety performance.
• Translate objectives into actionable safety plans, metrics, and initiatives.
• Drive a strong safety culture with ongoing improvement.
