Job summary

Confluence Technologies, Inc. in Boston (hybrid) seeks a Senior Corporate Counsel to join our global legal team. This role focuses on supporting commercial and regulatory needs in North America, negotiating complex SaaS and technology contracts, and providing pragmatic legal guidance across business units.

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will collaborate with commercial, product, and operations teams, helping manage risk while enabling growth in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney in Massachusetts or Pennsylvania.
• 5–7+ years’ legal experience, including time at a major U.S. law firm in a transactional practice.
• Extensive experience drafting and negotiating corporate and commercial contracts, including: B2B technology and information-related contracts.
• Identifying and resolving contractual and business risks (e.g., indemnities, liability limits, privacy, data protection, information security).
• Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to guide agreements to closure.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate complex SaaS and technology-related contracts.
• Advise on data protection, privacy and compliance matters.
• Provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice across a range of issues.
• Collaborate with commercial, product, customer success and internal operations teams.
• Serve as the first point of contact for legal matters in North America region.
