Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. in Austin, TX seeks a Corporate Counsel to advise on complex legal matters, manage risk, and support growth on major projects. Reporting to the VP & General Counsel, you will oversee outside counsel and contribute to strategic decisions.

The role requires a JD with bar admission and at least 5 years of firm or in-house experience, with strong negotiation and governance skills for public works and large infrastructure opportunities.

Qualifications

• JD with admission to state bar.
• Minimum 5 years of firm or in-house experience.
• Litigation and transactional experience preferred.
• Experience with public works, large infrastructure, and hospital projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address legal issues to manage risk and support strategic objectives.
• Prepare and negotiate design and construction agreements and other legal documents (confidentiality, leases, JV/teaming, supply/procurement, IP licenses).
• Provide counseling on risk management, dispute resolution and project management; interface with external clients and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee outside counsel and manage disputes and litigation, including negotiated resolutions.
• Prepare and conduct training on legal/risk management matters.
