Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. seeks a Corporate Counsel to provide legal counsel and risk management for the company, reporting to the Vice President, General Counsel.

You will advise on design and construction agreements, leases, IP/license matters, and joint ventures, while coordinating with external counsel and internal stakeholders. This role focuses on dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, and strategic business support.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of employment matters, union/labor relations and corporate compliance/governance a plus
• Experience with public works, large infrastructure, and hospital projects preferred
• Able to communicate positively, effectively, and efficiently with internal teams and outside clients
• Able to multi-task with excellent analytical and legal skills
• Ability to understand business needs and partner with the business to create solutions
• Strong understanding of the interplay between legal and business risk
• Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferred
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary

Responsibilities

• Identify and address legal issues to manage risk and support strategy
• Prepare and negotiate design/construction agreements and other legal documents
• Provide counseling on risk management, dispute resolution and project management
• Interface with external clients and internal stakeholders
• Resolve issues during project development
• Oversee outside counsel and manage disputes and litigation
• Prepare and conduct training on legal/risk matters
• Assist in business decisions like evaluating opportunities, budgeting, and hiring
• Evaluate licensure and labor requirements to ensure compliance
• Contribute to policies, procedures and programs, advising on legal implications
