Rosendin in Texas is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to support a broad range of legal matters for a nationwide, employee-owned electrical contractor. You will provide strategic guidance, draft and negotiate contracts, and help manage legal risk across complex projects.

This role requires a JD and admission to the state bar, at least five years of firm or in‑house experience, and the ability to interact with internal teams and external clients.

Qualifications

• JD with admission to state bar
• Minimum 5 years of firm or in-house experience
• Litigation and transactional experience preferred
• Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience

Responsabilités

• Identify and address legal issues to manage risk and align with strategic objectives.
• Prepare and negotiate design and construction agreements and related documents.
• Provide counseling on risk management, dispute resolution and project management issues.
• Oversee outside counsel and manage disputes and litigation with negotiated resolutions.
• Prepare and conduct training sessions on legal and risk management matters.
• Assist in business decisions such as evaluating opportunities, budgeting and hiring practices.
