Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support AWS Sales, Marketing, and Business Development. You will draft and negotiate strategic enterprise agreements with enterprise clients and government entities, and provide legal guidance across the Americas.

You will advise on procurement, interpret contracts for executives, and help resolve pre-litigation issues while collaborating with other legal teams on AI and cloud initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience.
• Juris Doctor and bar admission in good standing.
• Knowledge of AI ethics in a legal context.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and finalize strategic enterprise agreements with enterprise clients, government entities, and partners, ranging from standard transactions to complex deals.
• Provide legal counsel and contract interpretation to senior executives and business teams across Sales, Marketing, and Business Development.
• Advise on government procurement processes, RFPs, and compliance considerations.
• Administer and resolve legal issues in existing commercial relationships, including pre-litigation disputes.
• Collaborate with other Amazon legal teams and business units on broader projects.
