Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Corporate Counsel to shape legal strategy for AWS cloud services. You will draft and negotiate critical commercial agreements and provide strategic legal guidance to business leaders.

You will collaborate across product, sales, privacy, IP, and compliance teams to address regulatory and contracting issues, delivering practical, timely advice and supporting business objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of post-bar admission legal experience.
• Juris Doctor degree and membership in one state bar or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel to business leaders and cross-functional teams on commercial transactions.
• Research and advise on legal issues relevant to cloud computing services, including data processing terms and evolving commercial frameworks.
• Collaborate with business development teams to support customer engagements and structure deals meeting business and legal objectives.
• Manage a portfolio of customer relationships and commercial matters, including leading negotiations and advising on contract terms.
• Partner with IP, privacy, products, and compliance teams to deliver coordinated legal guidance.
