Job summary

Veritiv Corporation is seeking a Corporate Account Executive to target, acquire, and close large revenue opportunities at complex Corporate Accounts within the Logistics space. The role emphasizes a hunter approach, building relationships with executives and decision makers and handing off after closing to Account Management and Program teams.

Responsibilities include setting strategy with leadership, collaborating with decision makers, and maintaining a strong pipeline.

Qualifications

10 years proven business development and/or packaging experience preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Customer focused mindset.
Product and market knowledge.
Strong negotiation skills.
Strong financial acumen and analysis.
Possess a strong drive for results.

Responsibilities

Set strategy with Corporate Accounts Leadership and develop target opportunities.
Collaborate with decision makers to identify opportunities and sell the Veritiv value proposition.
Gather information about project goals, budgets, and outcomes from clients.
Partner with Corporate Account Manager to close opportunities and transition activities.
Develop proposals for key executives addressing critical needs.
Maintain a robust pipeline of Corporate Account opportunities across the sales cycle.
Participate in business reviews and customer functions as needed.
Consult with legal to develop contracts protecting company interests.
