Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience; senior level considered for more experience.
• Strong hands-on accrual-based accounting and bookkeeping experience.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP, GL accounting, and financial statement prep.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, bank and account reconciliations.
• Ability to read and interpret P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or similar software.
• Ability to manage multiple accounting functions independently.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accrual bookkeeping and journal entries.
• Own month-end and quarter-end close processes with accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and post intercompany and subsidiary journal entries.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Oversee commissions, expenses, accruals and other operational transactions.
• Prepare, analyze, and reconcile P&L, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Ensure U.S. GAAP compliance and strengthen internal controls.
• Support M&A-related accounting transitions and integrations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline close processes and improve reporting.
• Collaborate with leadership across finance and risk teams on financial needs.
