Job summary

TalentBridge is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. The role emphasizes ownership of the general ledger, month-end close, and accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will bring 3–5+ years of corporate accounting experience, a solid GAAP foundation, and strong Excel/ERP skills. You will be expected to explain debits/credits clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting.
• Strong GAAP, general ledger accounting knowledge, and accounting principles.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting activities, including preparing and posting journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Analyze account activity, investigate variances, and identify potential accounting issues.
• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and support schedules.
• Support internal and external audit requests and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting accuracy.
• Partner with accounting leadership and cross-functional teams to resolve accounting questions and support business needs.
