Tyree & D'Angelo Partners seeks a Senior Accountant in Chicago to join our team. You will support GAAP-compliant general ledger activities, assist with monthly closings, and help oversee corporate accounting tasks across acquisitions and fixed assets.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential. Ideal candidates have an undergraduate accounting degree and 2–6+ years of accounting experience, with advanced Excel and a collaborative, team-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate accounting degree required.
• 2–6+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel usage for efficiency and analysis.
• Detail and deadline oriented with strong analytical ability.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Local to the greater Chicago area and able to work in office.

Responsabilités

• Reconcile and record banking transactions on a monthly basis.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including review of financial activity.
• Oversee corporate level accounting as needed (acquisition, fixed assets, lease accounting).
• Perform P&L reviews and variance analyses, assist with periodic financial packages.
• Support audit procedures and companywide initiatives.
• Oversee processing in General Ledger and AP systems; ensure GAAP compliance.
• Assist with onboarding of new locations and process improvements.
